Olga Kivius This is a new release of the amusive label Eclipse Music, where I find music regularly. The group of famous Finnish musicians is leaded by the Icelandic guitarist, known as a leader of Equally Stupid. He played with such prominent musicians as V.Pohjola, R.Björkenheim & etc.
In fact, this music is characterized by powerful dynamic energy, mainly sounding as progressive jazz-rock with wild improvisations as well as it is full of attractive melodic lines. This mix makes the excellent impression. Favorite track: Leitin.

about

Kisima takes a unique and fresh approach to progressive jazz with rock influences. The album’s atmospheric and melodic qualities create a playful sound which draws from heavy riffs, dynamic drum beats and screaming saxophone sounds. In Kisima, Sigurdur is joined by saxophonist Johannes Sarjasto, bassist Eero Tikkanen and drummer Ville Pynssi.
